Raising our kids in California, my husband and I embraced our responsibility to expose the kids to art appreciation, as the public schools did not have the means to offer art classes as we both had enjoyed as students.
As a result of the early and regular family excursions we took to the wonderful museums and concerts in the greater Los Angeles area, we feel it is no coincidence that all three of our grown children enjoy careers as artists of varying form.
