Happy Valentine’s Day!

Hope you are planning something fun with your loved ones today!

My daughter Claire loves to shop on Melrose Avenue at the vintage clothing store. On a recent trip, I decided to drive around the neighborhood and stumbled upon this gem of a store, Rolling Greens Nursery.

Rolling Greens

Oh my! What treasures awaited me. Luckily Claire and Marissa were happy in Crossroads trying on clothes, so I had time to explore every nook and cranny of this old tire store, turned home and garden oasis.

Claire finally joined up with me, and found a few items she wanted for her bedroom!

The leaves from the Olive tree shadow and play upon the Olive Jars, adding a breezy delicacy to any corner of your yard, patio or garden. The beautiful earthen tones of gray and beige mingle well with the green neutrals of the tree and succulents which are easy care and drought tolerant.

I had a lovely succulent created for me at the Arrangement Bar. Here you can see two more examples of succulent creations that can be placed indoors or out. These easy care pieces add dimension and texture while bringing nature inside. I am drawn more and more to the grays and weathered stone.

What a wonderful day I had shopping and exploring. Here dried twig balls are placed in a stone birdbath. They can be used inside or out!

Birdhouses can add charm on an indoor wall or outdoor fence, hung from a tree branch or sitting on a small garden table.

Succulents can be surprisingly colorful!

Vintage mercury glass bottles ad subtle sparkle.

Notice how they have used moss as a base to build their display of soaps, candles, statuettes and florals. It was easy to spend hours here just discovering all of the treasures.

This former tire store was remodeled and this back room is full of textiles, pillows and home accessories. Claire was able to find a beautiful blanket. I love this bohemian, eclectic and timeless style.
