On a recent visit to Wilton Connecticut to have lunch, Alec and I discovered the Norwalk River Valley Trail which was so beautiful, we planned a long walk after lunch. I did a bit of research on this little gem, to learn more about it.

The NRVT project in Fairfield County aims to build 38 miles of trail connecting Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk, Connecticut to Rogers Park in Danbury passing through Wilton, Ridgefield and Redding along the way.

When completed, the NRVT will be a 10 foot wide, ADA compliant trail creating recreational opportunities for walkers, hikers, cyclists, kids, and pets. The NRVT will offer a healthy transportation alternative rail stations, schools, offices, and businesses, adding great value to Fairfield County Connecticut.
