for your walls is more than looking at swatches at the paint store.
Your paint consultation begins with a phone conversation. I ask specific questions about the space.
- How is the room used?
- What is the sun exposure of the room?
- Do you have existing fabric or carpet in the room?
- Do you have your painter lined up already, or need one?
- Are there colors that make you happy? Or colors you want to avoid?
- Will you provide some inspiration photos from Houzz or Pinterest of rooms you like overall?
Once engaged as your consultant, I come to your home armed with my Benjamin Moore paint fan decks,
as well as painted oversized cardboard with a select group of colors from Benjamin Moore Paints for
visual aids in finding the right color palette for your home.
Once the color palette is confirmed, I prepare the paint specification for your painter, which is complete
with paint color name, number, sheen, formula and a paint swatch for visual confirmation.
My clients are always so happy with the end result and often choose colors that they had never
considered, after seeing sample cards and learning about the nature of that color and how it will enhance
the space.
